Key Responsibilities
 

  • Design and development of applications built on Java technologies for healthcare domain, this is a cross functional activity.
  • Should be able to understand/learn architecture and design of existing enterprise applications developed mainly using Core Java/Swing/Java 2D and develop cost effective and sustainable solutions.
  • Take ownership of assigned jobs that are part of new feature implementations, bug fixes and enhancement activities
  • Technical communication with internal and external stake holders will be part of job

Work Experience

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • 3-6 years of experience in design and development of software applications and frameworks.
  • Excellent programming skills in Core Java and design patterns -Mandatory
  • Deep knowledge in Object-Oriented concepts and experience in implementing the same using Java – Mandatory
  • Strong experience in developing Linux/Unix based desktop applications using Core Java and Java Swing- Mandatory
  • Basic understanding skills in Bash Script, Javascript, HTML5, CSS
  • Experience in working with Agile 
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge in DICOM

Desired Skills:

  • Familiar with tools like WinScp, Putty, Git, Rally, Collaborator, SVN,  ALM, JDICOM/DVT/DCMTK
  • Ability to explore large code base and understand architecture and design
  • Ability to deliver without much supervision from lead/managers
  • Experience in developing software applications for Medical Devices domain CT, XR, MR, Common Platform, DICOM standard.
