Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic IT Support Technician with a background in computer hardware and networking.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-level support, performing basic troubleshooting of hardware and network issues, and assisting in the maintenance and monitoring of security devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of computer hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.)
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi)
- Assist in the configuration and installation of hardware and software systems
- Monitor and support basic network infrastructure
- Provide technical support to end-users on-site or remotely
- Assist in managing and maintaining security devices (e.g., firewalls, antivirus systems, surveillance equipment)
- Maintain documentation of issues and resolutions for future reference
- Collaborate with senior IT staff for escalated issues and system upgrades
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of computer hardware components and peripherals
- Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches, cabling)
- Familiarity with common security devices and basic cybersecurity practices
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting hardware and network issues
- Basic knowledge of security surveillance systems and endpoint protection tools.
