DevOps Engineer

Our site in Pune, India is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Python, GCP/AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. Provide leadership in the DevSecOps areas of cloud computing, including: vulnerability remediation and scanning, certificate management, identity and access management, data analysis of security monitoring outputs, and other daily security and compliance efforts. Additionally, you will assist in developing an automated security framework for robust deployment tools and processes, leveraging various scripting languages and open-source solutions.

This role will be based out of newly formed Entegris ITC (India Technology Center) at Pune in India reporting to ITC Center leader and dotted line to the Strategic Platforms Architecture leader.

What You'll Do:  ​​​​

• Daily responsibilities
  • 30% development
  • 70% operations
• Design, implement, and maintain Google cloud infrastructure and services
• Manage and automate GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) - Terraform
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to support application development and deployment
• Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure performance.

What We Seek: ​

• Hands-on experience with Terraform
• Scripting abilities with Python / Java / Shell
• Familiarity with Ubuntu Linux
• Experience working with BI, ETL, Data Management tools (Informatica, QLIK, Looker)
• Knowledge of API development (RESTAPI)

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:​​​​​

• 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps or Systems related role
• Strong containerization usage of Kubernetes
• Ability to build cloud infrastructure within a GCP environment
• Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools like Datadog, ELK, or similar
• Provide support for engineering teams and onboarding
• Strong knowledge of Power BI
• Experience working in GCP based Big Data deployments leveraging Terraform, BigQuery, Bigtable, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud Build, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Airflow, gsutil, Gcloud, Cloud Composer, Vertex AI & ML tools
• Experience with Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, and deploying applications on GCP
• Strong working experience of Linux & Windows environment/administration
• Proficiency in SQL-based databases like Oracle, Snowflake, Google BigQuery etc.
• Iterative development experience
• Maintenance and experience with eliminating down time in production environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills – this role is heavily collaborative
