We are looking for a seasoned Lead Data Python Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable data applications and pipelines. You will leverage Python with Django or Flask frameworks, cloud technologies (GCP or AWS), Redis caching, SQL databases, and big data processing using PySpark to drive our data infrastructure and products forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of robust data-driven applications and APIs using Python with Django or Flask.
  • Architect and build scalable data processing pipelines leveraging PySpark for big data workloads.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based data solutions on GCP or AWS platforms.
  • Implement caching and fast data retrieval mechanisms using Redis.
  • Develop complex SQL queries and optimize database schemas for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, driving best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure high code quality and maintainability through code reviews and automated testing.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliability.
  • Stay abreast of emerging data technologies and propose improvements to existing systems.
