Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Receptionist to join our dynamic team at our Bangalore headquarters. This full-time role requires 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in front desk operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk tasks efficiently, while being the first point of contact for visitors and clients at Itsy Bitsy Pvt Ltd.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in managing front desk operations is required. Experience across multiple industries adds value.
  • Must have exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Prior experience in guest handling, ensuring visitors feel welcomed and attended to with professionalism.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools for efficient handling of daily tasks and communication.
  • Experience in visitor management systems to maintain an organized and secure reception area.
  • Basic knowledge of record keeping to ensure that all activities are properly documented and accessible.
  • Prior experience with multi-line phone systems to manage calls promptly and politely.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to ensure a seamless flow of operations in the reception area.
  • Must have skill: Front Desk Operations (Mandatory skill)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive and courteous experience at all times.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while promptly addressing inquiries.
  • Coordinate front desk activities including scheduling, monitoring, and managing appointments.
  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness to project a professional image.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records of interactions.
  • Assist in the coordination of events and meetings by providing necessary support and resources.
  • Keep updated records of office expenses and costs for budget adherence and reporting purposes.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of information within the organization.
