We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong handson experience in Snowflake as the primary data platform and working knowledge of DBT for data modeling and transformation The ideal candidate will design build and optimize scalable data pipelines that support analytics reporting and datadriven decisionmaking across the organizationKey ResponsibilitiesDesign build and maintain ETLELT pipelines using Snowflake and DBTDevelop and optimize Snowflake data models including warehouse database schema structures tables and viewsBuild DBT models using best practices for modularity testing and documentationImplement data ingestion from multiple sources using tools such as Airflow Snowpipe Fivetran or equivalentOptimize Snowflake performance clustering query optimization warehouse sizing cachingEnsure data quality through unit tests data validation and DBT testsCollaborate with analytics BI and product teams to understand business data needsImplement best practices for CICD version control Git and automated deployments for DBT and Snowflake workflowsMonitor and troubleshoot pipeline issues ensuring high data availability and reliabilityMaintain documentation for data models pipelines and system configurationsRequired Skills Qualifications47 years of experience in Data Engineering or similar roleStrong handson expertise with Snowflake warehousing databases performance tuning security Snowpipe tasks streamsProficient in DBT CoreCloud for modeling transformations tests and documentationStrong SQL skills analytical SQL performance tuning complex queriesExperience with ETLELT orchestration tools Airflow preferredGood understanding of data modeling concepts StarSnowflake schemas normalizationExperience with cloud platforms AWSGCPAzure and related servicesFamiliarity with Git CICD pipelines and codefirst data engineeringUnderstanding of REST APIs and integration patternsStrong problemsolving and analytical skills.
