Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior 3D Modeling & Texturing Artist to join our creative team. The candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models and textures for characters, props, and environments that align with the artistic vision and technical requirements of our projects. You will collaborate closely with concept artists, riggers, animators, and other team members to deliver visually stunning assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality 3D models (characters, props, environments, etc.) with attention to detail and aesthetics.
  • Develop realistic and stylized textures using industry-standard tools.
  • Ensure assets meet technical specifications and pipeline requirements for real-time engines and/or pre-rendered projects.
  • Collaborate with art directors and concept artists to interpret and implement visual direction.
  • Optimize models and textures for performance without compromising visual quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to models, UVs, and textures.
  • Mentor and guide junior artists, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in 3D art.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Game Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a 3D Modeling & Texturing Artist in gaming, film, or animation.
  • Proficiency in Maya/3ds Max, ZBrush, Blender, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Photoshop (or equivalent tools).
  • Strong knowledge of PBR texturing workflows and shader creation.
  • Experience working with game engines such as Unreal Engine, Unity, or VFX pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, proportions, form, and surface detail.
  • Excellent UV mapping and topology skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of modeling and texturing work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with sculpting high-resolution models for baking workflows.
  • Knowledge of procedural texturing techniques.
  • Familiarity with lighting, shading, and rendering workflows.
  • Experience in mentoring or leading a small team of artists.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50, ₹80,000.00 per month
