Experience required of Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured

Job Description:

Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios specifically for API Connect environments.

Perform manual and automated testing of RESTful and SOAP APIs to validate functionality, security, data integrity, and performance.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, or equivalent.

Integrate API testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery.

Identify, document, track, and work proactively to resolve API defects and inconsistencies.

Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product teams to clarify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and suggest improvements.

Validate API endpoints to ensure correct data exchange and adherence to specifications.

Ensure API security testing, identifying potential vulnerabilities or weaknesses.

Maintain comprehensive testing documentation, records, and reports for audit and process improvement purposes.

Stay current with emerging API testing tools, industry standards, and best practices.
