Job Title: QA Intern (Quality Assurance Intern)

Location: Ahmedabad

Department: QA Intern

Duration: 6 Months

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our Quality Assurance team. As a QA Intern, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to test software applications, identify bugs, and ensure our products meet high standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing, developing, and executing test cases and test plans
  • Perform manual testing of web, mobile, or desktop applications
  • Log detailed bug reports and work with developers to resolve issues
  • Participate in regression, functional, and user acceptance testing
  • Learn and apply QA best practices, tools, and processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements
  • Support test automation efforts where possible (if applicable)
  • Document test results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Basic understanding of software development and QA methodologies
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) is a plus
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Exposure to automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman)
  • Experience writing simple test scripts or using test frameworks
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
