Job Description:

We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Manual QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through manual testing processes. Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning:
  • Develop detailed test plans based on project specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to understand project goals and functionality.
  • Test Execution:
  • Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to validate functionality, user interface, and system integration.
  • Identify, document, and communicate defects to the development team.
  • Regression Testing:
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality.
  • Exploratory Testing:
  • Use exploratory testing techniques to uncover issues and scenarios not covered by existing test cases.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Documentation:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.
  • Quality Advocacy:
  • Act as an advocate for software quality, providing input on best practices and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies and processes.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
  • Understanding of web technologies and mobile application testing.
