Authorised Distributor for leading FMCG & Beverage Brands

We are urgently looking for an experienced Chemist to join our Packaged Drinking Water Plant Quality Control & Assurance Team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance with FSSAI and BIS standards through chemical analysis and process monitoring.

Requirements:

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry
• 2–5 years of proven experience in chemical testing within the food/beverage/water industry
• Prefer knowledge of Packaged Drinking Water Standards
• Hands-on experience in water quality analysis (pH, TDS, Turbidity, Hardness, Alkalinity, Nitrates, Chlorides, Heavy Metals, etc.)
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and ISO procedures
• Ability to prepare, maintain, and document laboratory records accurately
• Immediate joiners preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine chemical analysis of raw water, treated water, and finished products
• Monitor critical quality parameters as per BIS and FSSAI requirements
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments such as pH meter, TDS meter, UV–Vis spectrophotometer, turbidity meter, etc.
• Ensure adherence to BIS, FSSAI, and other statutory norms
• Investigate quality deviations, analyze results, and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of chemicals and reagents
• Coordinate with the Plant Manager and QC Head for quality assurance documentation and reports

KODAND Water Plant, Kilavallanadu, Thoothukudi (Tamil Nadu)
