We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist
In this role, you will:
- Define and drive the enterprise-wide DevOps roadmap, ensuring alignment of business and transformation goals
- Evaluate and select right set of DevOps Tools, framework, and platform to manage large set of applications
- Define and build DevOps KPIs & Cost optimization measure to evaluate DevOps maturity in existing and new Projects
- Work within a feature team to engineer software, scripts and tools to enable the delivery of bank's products and services.
- Define and enforce governance compliance and security measures within Pipeline
- Build Training Program and community for progress
- Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work; and mentoring and developing team members.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Have an experience of 14 to 16 years in DevOps technologies
- Champion in automation in build, test, release and monitor pipelines
- Should have experience in Cloud Technology (preferably GCP)
- Have an extensive experience on Containers & Container Orchestrator Technologies ( like Docker/Kubernetes )
- Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud platforms
- Strong Expertise in Tools and Technology like Jenkins, Github Actions, Terraform, Ansible
- Should have an experience of working & building DevOps strategy/pipeline for wide variety of service in technologies like java, spring, python, react
- Should have exposure to Database technologies like Postgres, MongoDB, Oracle
- Experience of working with monitoring and alerting tools such as but not limited to AppDynamics, Splunk, NewRelic
- Experience supporting middleware / database design, build and troubleshooting in development and production environments.
- Technical leadership of large team of developers and help development of team capabilities. Work with senior business stakeholders
- Should be able to manage and understand security features/technologies like Firewall, Certificate management, Secret Management
- Prior knowledge of Agile and SAFe enterprise framework
- Certifications like CKAD, CKA , GCP DevOps Engineer are good to have.
