Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Demand to Supply (DTS) Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong understanding of the DTS process in SAP in areas such as Master Data, Planning, Quality Management, Inventory & Warehouse Management and Logistics & Transportation Management.
The SAP DTS analyst role is to collaborate closely with business clients in the Sales, Production Control, Logistics, Purchasing and Customs functions in order to optimise the SAP support for the corresponding business processes, and to define, develop and document global solutions for the DTS processes. The role requires an understanding and anticipation of business requirements, challenges and opportunities, as well as an intimate understanding of the SAP capabilities in the DTS functional area so that the analyst can design effective solutions.
The SAP DTS Analyst will work closely with the Demand to Supply Solution Architect to understand requirements across the DTS process and assess where SAP solutions are available and support creation of end to roadmaps.
Aptiv are embarking on a multiyear program to roll out SAP S/4HANA to all locations globally, transforming and optimizing our operating model and business processes to increase efficiency and automation. In the role of SAP DTS Analyst you will play your part in helping Aptiv make best use of SAP Best Practices and the latest solutions to harmonise business processes and deliver a global template to be roll-out across the globe.
Your Role
- Evaluate and define solutions for Aptiv business requirements in SAP DTS.
- Leveraging leading-practice business process knowledge and system proficiency to design and implement long term, scalable solutions for the business requirements in the functional areas supported by SAP DTS.
- Work with existing applications in the DTS area including SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, to deliver continuous improvement and projects in the Demand to Supply process.
- Will involve applying knowledge of the automotive industry to tailor solutions effectively, ensuring they meet industry standards and requirements.
- Defining, documenting, managing the completeness and accuracy of APTIV's existing DTS solutions portfolio; making recommendations for improvements and/or alternatives.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and partners, you'll lead by example, fostering effective communication and teamwork to drive successful business transformations.
Your Background
- Minimum of 10+ years' experience in analyzing requirements and designing solutions and roadmaps in SAP DTS process in one or more of planning, warehousing & inventory management and quality management covering SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong background in the automotive, high tech or related industries is preferred
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Comfortable with questioning established ways of working to bring process and automation improvements and getting agreement to change
