Job Posting: Project Engineer Junior Civil Engineering / Project Management

Location: On-site, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh

Start Date: Immediately

Contract Duration: 6 Months, to Permanent if willing to move to other city

Salary: Depends on experience (all inclusive)

Role Description

We are looking for a Junior Project Engineer to join us on-site in Nellore, AP, for a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for candidates with 5 +years of experience in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Site Management, who are eager to apply their knowledge and gain hands-on experience in project execution and management.

You will work closely with the Principal Consultant and project team to support various site activities, including:

• Assisting in site coordination and workflow management
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress and timelines
• Maintaining documentation, drawings, and construction logs
• Conducting data analysis related to site activities
• Supporting quality control and ensuring compliance with safety and standards
• Learning and applying project management tools and methods
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of site practices

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
• Up to 5 years of experience in site execution or project coordination
• Sound understanding of construction site operations
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Self-driven, adaptable, and eager to learn
• Familiarity with project management principles is a plus
• Must own a smartphone and laptop to support work activities

Terms & Conditions

• This is a learning and assessment opportunity. Successful candidates may be considered for long-term roles if FIT IN expands its presence in Andhra Pradesh.
• The internship is subject to background verification and medical fitness.
• A 2-week notice period applies from either party. No leave is allowed during the notice period.
• Candidates must maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary and project-related information.
• All company materials, assets, and documents must be returned at the end of the contract.
• This position does not guarantee employment beyond the contract duration.
• Immediate joining is required.
