Plumber/Pipefitter

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, and drainage systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle using hand and power tools.
• Assemble and install piping sections and secure them in position.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks using pressure gauges or other equipment.
• Install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and bathtubs.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with building codes and regulations.
• Inspect systems and components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair.
• Coordinate with contractors and other construction professionals.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe and operational condition.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of apprenticeship program preferred.
• Valid plumbing license or certification (varies by location).
• Proven experience as a plumber or pipe fitter.
• Knowledge of water distribution and disposal systems, as well as heating and ventilation systems.
• Familiarity with plumbing tools and equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in cramped conditions.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹15, ₹18,000.00 per month
