Job Purpose
Supports, debugs and improves day to day activities and meet user needs for Finacle FD ProductDuties and Responsibilities
1.  Production Support:
 
• Debug and analyse Production Issues raised by the user.
 
• Work on the support tickets raised by the users by taking the required action – service request, clarification, data repair etc.
 
• Think and implement on the lines of automation of the existing manual support process
 
• Detect, troubleshoot, and fix the issues or raise with the partner for receiving the fix

 2. Testing and Debugging:
 
• Work with QA team to create detailed test plans
 
• Review the test artifacts shared by the QA team on the production issue

 3. Code Review and Collaboration:
 
• Engage in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to colleagues and partner.
 
 4. Maintenance and Optimization:
 
• Oversee and maintain existing application.
 
• Enhance the performance and scalability of the existing code.
 
• Involve in the upgrade activities of OS, Java etc.
5. Handle audit/compliance queries and support the same.
6. Analyse the existing KPI/Health check discrepancies and add more KPIs to the existing list.Key Decisions / Dimensions
1. Mentorship: Guiding off role team on their day-to-day support.Major Challenges
1. Communication and Collaboration:
 
• Ensuring seamless communication across diverse teams is vital, using tools and practices that promote clear information flow and mutual understanding
2.  Quality:
 
• Maintaining high delivery quality of support fixes and thorough testing is critical. No issues should arise out of any of theRequired Qualifications and Experience
Work Experience: 6 - 8 years
Required Skills:
1. Working experience on Finacle-10.x Core Product and Customization
2. Experience in handling/analyzing Finacle Interface (Custom and Product APIs) layer and logs
3. Understanding of Finacle customization – New Menu, Jasper Reports, Product Menu customization
4. Finacle EOD-BOD processes

o Technincal Skills
1. Experience in best practices to be followed in Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL – Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers etc.) related to Finacle Application
2. Experience in Unix/Linux shell scripting.

o Functional Skills
1. Finacle Core Banking Functional knowledge.
2. Good understanding of Banking terminologies used.
3. Basic understanding of Finacle CRM.
4. Experience in following coding standards, security, documentation standards etc.

o Soft Skills
1. Self-motivator and self-starter – Able to own or take responsibilities of things and able to drive them without much supervision.
2. Have excellent interpersonal skills to interact and present new ideas to top management.
