Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-quality Android applications.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, and Backend teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable Kotlin code following best practices.
- Integrate streaming technologies and optimize playback performance.
- Troubleshoot issues, debug crashes, and ensure app stability across devices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and release planning.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2-5 years of professional Android development experience, with Front End Development experience.
- Strong command of Kotlin and Java- Mandatory and strong expertise
- Solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components, MVVM/MVI patterns. Mandatory and strong expertise
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Retrofit/OkHttp, and dependency injection (Dagger/Hilt).
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD, Play Store deployment, and A/B testing frameworks.
- Experience working with streaming media players (ExoPlayer preferred).
- Good knowledge of performance optimization and memory management.
Nice to Have
- Experience working on OTT / media streaming platforms.
- Exposure to Compose UI.
- Understanding of analytics and user engagement tools.
