We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior WordPress Developer to lead the development of custom, high-performance, and scalable digital experiences. The ideal candidate will specialize in translating custom designs into pixel-perfect, clean, and efficient WordPress themes, while also possessing a strong background in complex integrations and performance optimization. You must embody a development philosophy centered on best WordPress practices, project transparency, and continuous improvement, similar to the high standards set by expert freelance developers in the industry

• Custom Theme Development: Develop and maintain complex, custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch using modern techniques (e.g., Gutenberg blocks, ACF), ensuring pixel-perfect fidelity to provided designs. 
• Performance & Optimization: Expertly diagnose and resolve bottlenecks to ensure superior Core Web Vitals (CWV) performance (e.g., meeting sub-2-second load targets). Optimize database queries and server-side performance using MySQL best practices. 
• API & Data Integration: Architect and implement complex, bi-directional integrations with third-party systems like Salesforce CRM and various e-commerce APIs (e.g., Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce). 
• Conversion & Lead Generation: Build high-conversion dynamic websites and landing pages, utilizing development skills to directly support business goals and boost lead conversion. 
• Front-End Proficiency: Write clean, maintainable, and standards-compliant HTML and CSS (SASS/LESS) and implement dynamic front-end functionality using JavaScript/jQuery or frameworks like Angular JS. 
• DevOps & Deployment: Design and manage modern deployment workflows, including Git version control, Docker containerization, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. 
• Digital Marketing Integration: Implement and manage critical digital marketing and analytics tools, including configuring Google Analytics and leveraging Yoast to ensure optimal SEO performance and compliance. 
• Code Quality & Maintenance: Ensure all websites meet strict WCAG accessibility standards and comply with on-page SEO best practices using tools like Yoast SEO and configuring Google Analytics for tracking. 

• Core WordPress 5+ years of experience in custom WordPress development, including theme and plugin creation. Deep knowledge of the WordPress core, action hooks, and filters. Custom Gutenberg Block development experience is critical. 
• Demonstrated ability to build fully responsive and accessible web experiences. 
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular JS or React for headless/decoupled WordPress projects. 
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). 
• Proven ability to implement and manage API integrations, specifically with CRM platforms (like Salesforce) or complex e-commerce platforms. 
• Expertise in Core Web Vitals (CWV) optimization to achieve top performance scores. 
• Expertise in WordPress security best practices and hardening, with a deep understanding and implementation of WCAG accessibility standards. 
• Experience configuring and managing complex hosting environments (e.g., AWS, Kinsta, WP Engine). 
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to project transparency and meeting deadlines. 
• Ability to lead code reviews, establish coding standards, and mentor junior developers. 

• Mastery of HTML5, CSS3 (or preprocessors like Sass), and JavaScript/jQuery. 
• Proficiency in Headless/Decoupled WordPress architecture (using the REST API or GraphQL) and familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (like or React). 
• Expert proficiency in PHP and strong experience optimizing and managing relational data using MySQL. 
• Strong understanding of on-page SEO principles, experience configuring and utilizing Google Analytics, and optimization using plugins like Yoast SEO.
