As the Head of Legal for Retail Banking candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the adherence to legal frameworks specific to Retail Businesses, driving efficient operations, and providing strategic legal guidance.
Responsibilities- Oversee the implementation and compliance of legal frameworks pertinent to Retail Businesses.
- Stay updated with legal regulations and industry trends to ensure the Retail division's practices remain compliant.
- Proactively identify potential legal issues that may arise within Retail operations.
- Lead efforts to effectively resolve legal challenges, minimizing potential risks to the bank.
- Provide expert legal advice and approvals pertaining to property matters within the Retail division. Ensure that property-related transactions are legally sound and compliant. Identify and establish relationships with an appropriate number of reputable legal law firms.
- Manage the empanelment process.
- Offer strategic legal guidance to the Retail division, aligning business practices with legal requirements. Participate in negotiations, contract reviews, and drafting.
Qualification: LLB/LLM
Experience: 11 to 15 years
