Job Type: Full-Time | Rotational Shifts (Male candidates preferred)

Position Overview

Sterling Hospitals is seeking an experienced IP Pharmacy In-Charge to manage inpatient pharmacy operations. The role requires expertise in hospital pharmacy functions, inventory management, vendor coordination, compliance, and leading a strong pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with government authorities to resolve pharma/drug-related issues.
  • Conduct daily internal audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
  • Lead, train, and manage the pharmacy team for smooth departmental operations.
  • Monitor and optimize Turnaround Time (TAT) for patient indent to material delivery.
  • Maintain Days of Inventory (DOI) below 24 days and control stock variance.
  • Handle returns of non-moving and near-expiry drugs.
  • Ensure proper medicine storage conditions and arrange alternative sourcing if required.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely Debit Note (DN) & Credit Note (CN) collections.
  • Oversee OT & Cathlab inventory including implants, stents, balloons, consumables, and sutures.
  • Ensure strict compliance with hospital pharmacy regulations and internal/external audits.

Education & Experience

  • Education: B. Pharma / M. Pharma / D. Pharma
  • Experience: Minimum 7–15 years in Hospital Pharmacy (IPD pharmacy operations preferred).

Skills Required

  • Strong Inventory Management & Stock Control
  • Team Leadership & Staff Coordination
  • Internal Audit & Regulatory Compliance Knowledge
  • Vendor Management Expertise
  • Working knowledge of OT & Cathlab Products (implants, stents, consumables, sutures, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: Up to 40,000 per month
  • Work Mode: Rotational Shifts
  • Joining: Within 15 Days – 1 Month
