Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Electrical & Design Engineer to lead and manage electrical design activities across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proven record of delivering high-quality electrical design solutions in line with project timelines and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of electrical design, from concept to detailed engineering.
  • Develop and review electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and SLDs.
  • Prepare design calculations, load schedules, technical specifications, and BOQs.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architectural, mechanical, civil) to ensure design integration.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant international and local codes (IEC, NEC, BS, DEWA, etc.).
  • Conduct design reviews, value engineering, and feasibility studies for optimization.
  • Supervise site installation, testing, and commissioning works as required.
  • Evaluate and select electrical equipment, materials, and systems for design efficiency.
  • Provide technical support to project and construction teams.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • 12–15 years of professional experience in electrical design and engineering.
  • Proven expertise in LV, MV, and HV system design, lighting, power distribution, grounding, and protection systems.
  • Proficient in design and analysis software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, Dialux, etc.
  • Strong understanding of applicable standards and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
