About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Serverless Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, event-driven, serverless applications in a cloud-native environment. In this role, you will develop high-performance backend services using serverless architectures, enabling rapid delivery, minimal overhead, and high availability. You will collaborate with development, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure teams to deliver secure and efficient solutions that align with modern application development standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain serverless applications using cloud-native services (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).
  • Build APIs, event-driven systems, and microservices architectures using serverless paradigms.
  • Integrate serverless functions with other cloud services (e.g., DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, Firestore).
  • Optimize serverless applications for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
  • Monitor and debug live systems, leveraging observability tools and logs.
  • Ensure applications are secure, resilient, and compliant with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to integrate business logic and improve user experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with GraphQL, WebSockets, or real-time architectures.
  • Familiarity with event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).
  • Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CodePipeline).
  • Experience with multi-region deployments and high-availability design patterns.
  • Exposure to security and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
