Job Summary:

The Digital Academy Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students about digital education programs, understanding their career goals, and helping them choose the right course. This role involves counselling, lead management, admissions coordination, and maintaining strong relationships with students from inquiry to enrolment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Counselling & Course Guidance

  • Understand students' career goals, interests, and educational background.
  • Provide detailed information about academy courses and career pathways.
  • Conduct counselling through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and face-to-face/online meetings.
  • Help students choose the most appropriate program.

2. Lead Handling & Follow-ups

  • Respond promptly to new inquiries from various sources (website, social media, campaigns, referrals).
  • Regularly follow up with potential students to convert inquiries into admissions.
  • Maintain student information and follow-up status in CRM/Excel.

3. Admission Process & Documentation

  • Guide students through the registration, enrollment, and fee payment process.
  • Collect and verify required documents during admission.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of students.

4. Target Achievement

  • Meet monthly/weekly admission and revenue targets.
  • Work proactively to increase student enrollment numbers.

5. Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
  • Provide ongoing support regarding course schedules, classes, and academic processes.
  • Address student queries, concerns, and feedback professionally.

6. Coordination with Internal Teams

  • Collaborate with trainers, academic coordinators, and placement teams.
  • Share student feedback with the marketing and management teams for improvement.

7. Reporting & Records

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inquiries, conversions, and admissions.
  • Maintain systematic records of communication, enrollments, and follow-ups.

8. Promotional Activities

  • Participate in webinars, education fairs, workshops, and student engagement events.
  • Support marketing activities to promote academy programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Prior experience in counselling
  • Knowledge of digital education industry is a plus.
