We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and automation tools. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure, enabling faster and reliable software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and automation using GCP and related tools.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, Nexus, and Groovy scripting.
  • Build, configure, and manage containerized applications using Docker; create Docker images and manage Docker containers efficiently.
  • Setup, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for deploying and scaling applications reliably.
  • Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible to provision and maintain infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to automate build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments (Development, QA, UAT, Production).
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and ensure high availability and security of environments.
  • Enhance platform performance and scalability by continuously improving infrastructure and operational processes.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to provide real-time insight into system performance and failures.
  • Work in Agile environments; participate in scrum ceremonies to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase product delivery speed and operational flexibility.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related roles with strong focus on cloud infrastructure management, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.
  • Solid experience with Groovy scripting for automation and pipeline creation.
  • Strong expertise in container technologies, specifically Docker creating images, managing containers, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience in Kubernetes cluster setup, administration, and application deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, Nexus.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, especially Agile, with a focus on collaboration and quality deliverables.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related operational issues promptly.
  • Experience in building self-service infrastructure provisioning and automating delivery pipelines.
  • Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools to maintain system health and reliability.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certifications related to Cloud Platforms (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) are a plus.
