Title : UX Designer
Location : Offshore Remote (India)
About the Role :We are seeking an expert UX Designer to join our team remotely from India. This role requires a blend of strong interaction design and UI specialization to craft highly engaging and technically optimized experiences for our online learning platform. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design of numerous product features, translating complex user goals into intuitive, accessible, and performant digital solutions. Alignment with US Central Time (CST) working hours (8 AM - 10 AM overlap required) is essential for seamless collaboration.
Core Responsibilities :
- Design Lifecycle Ownership: Drive the design process from initial ideation and conceptualization through final, production-ready execution, ensuring simple, beautiful software experiences.
- Prototyping and Fidelity: Produce and direct high-fidelity, interactive web-based prototypes that accurately reflect design intent, utilizing tools to support technical validation and user feedback within the context of the supported application.
- Information Architecture & Flows: Meticulously optimize user flows and reimagine the Information Architecture of pivotal moments in the user's learning journey, exhibiting great attention to detail.
- Web Patterns and Frameworks: Apply deep familiarity with established web interaction patterns and design frameworks to ensure consistency, accessibility, and technical feasibility of design solutions.
- Design Validation: Lead the rapid creation of wireframes, low-fidelity prototypes, and final high-fidelity design specifications to rigorously test and validate design hypotheses with customers and stakeholders.
- Technical Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and successful implementation, defining necessary component states and micro-interactions.
- Data-Informed Decisions: Utilize user research and analytical data to inform and defend design decisions for the benefit of the product and customer experience, embracing a culture of experimentation and iteration.
- Design System Utilization: Effectively utilize and contribute to the existing design system, ensuring all new components and patterns adhere to established visual and interaction standards.
Qualifications :
- Experience: 3 years of proven experience in interaction design, user interface design, and user experience research or a related discipline.
- Technical Command: Strong command of visual design principles, complex interaction design patterns, and scalable information architecture.
- Prototyping Proficiency: Capability to rapidly communicate and prototype interactions at all levels of fidelity, demonstrating a working knowledge of underlying UI and Web Patterns.
- Design System Experience: Mandatory familiarity and comfort with working with or contributing to an established design system.
- Research Integration: Comfortable leading and leveraging user research methodologies and utilizing quantitative/qualitative data to inform design outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-platform teams, including Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and business stakeholders.
- Portfolio: A strong, professional portfolio showcasing previous design projects with detailed explanations of process, technical constraints, and measurable impact.
