Job Description
    The Java Developer is an intermediate-level position responsible for developing technical components and following SDLC lifecycle for delivering user requirements. Also work with business analyst and users for requirement gathering to delivery. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to technical components development activities and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

    Responsibilities:

    Java Development and Interact with BA and user community for project delivery
    Formulate and define systems scope and project objectives through research activities and provide guidance to new or lower level analysts
    Analyze business client needs, document requirements and new technology such as MSA Architectures, and derive test cases using best suitable frameworks
    Define and analyze enhancements and assist in redesigning business processes and process automation
    Identify risk and consider business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
    Test systems to ensure projects meet requirements and identify system problems to develop solutions based on analyses
    Resolve problems by translating business requirements into technical solutions and identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and precedent
    Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
    

Qualifications:

years of relevant experience
    Experience in Java - All, Spring Boot, Spring Batch and Scheduling Frameworks
    RESTful services, Microservices development experiences
    RDBMS Knowledge, Oracle, Sybase and No-SQL Database experiences
    Knowledge of applicable business systems and industry standards
    Proven analytical, data analysis, organization and presentation skills
    Basic knowledge on distributed messaging systems Kafka, ActiveMQ and RabitMQ
    Should have strong hands-on experience on Java, Spring Boot, Database, JDBC, JMS, 
    Rest Big Data /Distributed System, etc
    Should have strong hands-on experience in big data processing, ETL frameworks like 
    Spring batch, Spring Data flow, Apache Spark, Flink, etc.,
    Should have experience in NO-SQL database like Mongo DB / Cassandra
    Should have experience in distributed messaging framework like Kafka / Rabbit MQ / JMS, etc.,
    Should have experience on AI tools like Github copilot , chatGpt and open AI frameworks.
    Should have exposure in application containerization such as Build / Develop / Deploy using dockers and kubernetes
    Should have exposure in Distributed caching frameworks like Hazelcast / Apache Ignite, etc.,
    Should have exposure application monitoring and tracing tools like SPLUNK, ELK, etc.,
    Consistently passionate for research, ideation and exploration with understanding of business analysis procedures and concepts
    Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
    Proven ability to work independently and in a team with understanding of how collaboration accomplishes objectives
    Ability to guide team members for development activities and bug fixes
    Should have strong hands-on experience on Java, Spring Boot, Database, JDBC, JMS, Rest Big Data /Distributed System, etc
    Experience using ALM and CICD tools like Bitbucket, TFS, Jenkins, uDeploy, BMC RLM or related tools in an agile methodology.
    Experience in Leading project solution architecture design on various levels, including high and detailed level design.
    Experience in Solution Architecture documentation and other architectural deliverables.
    Experience in providing solutions for a wide range of technologies – Java, Databae, Cloud and, Web Technologies, etc.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
