Global Logistics Platform Leader

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the development of our global logistics platform.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in designing and implementing scalable distributed systems that provide seamless interfaces between sellers, shippers, trade agents, and customs authorities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead an engineering team to build, operate, and maintain software that meets business needs
- Hire, coach, and mentor individuals
- Interface with diverse stakeholders to understand requirements, priorities, and processes
- Propose and implement new projects or recommend system improvements
- Own all operational metrics and support
- Help develop long-term development and business technology strategies
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
