E A leading real estate and infrastructure group is seeking a seasoned professional to head its Project Management Office (PMO).

This strategic leadership role involves driving operational excellence across large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

The VP - PMO will be responsible for establishing governance frameworks, ensuring timely and quality project delivery, and aligning execution with organizational goals.

Role & responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Establish and lead the PMO function to standardize project delivery across geographies
  • Define governance frameworks, reporting systems, and review mechanisms
  • Align project execution with business strategy and growth plans
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery, risk management, and resource optimization

Project Delivery & Performance Management

  • Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of high-value real estate projects
  • Monitor progress against timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and sustainability standards
  • Identify risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Design, Engineering, Procurement, Legal, Finance, Sales)
  • Interface with contractors, consultants, architects, and regulatory authorities
  • Present project updates and performance insights to senior leadership

Team Leadership

  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of project managers and engineers
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration
  • Enable capability building and knowledge sharing across teams

Preferred candidate profile

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Civil ; MBA or PMP preferred
    • 15-20 years of experience in construction management within large-scale real estate or infrastructure organizations
    • Proven track record of leading multiple high-value projects end-to-end
    • Proficiency in project planning tools (Primavera / MS Project), budgeting, and quality systems
    • Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills
    • Experience working with senior leadership in matrix environments
