Job DescriptionRole Summary

As our Social Media Manager, you'll be the voice of The Petfort across all social platforms. You'll create, shoot, edit, and publish content that resonates with pet parents while managing our complete social media strategy. This is a hands-on role that requires both creative and technical skills.

Primary ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Management

• Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality photos and videos of pets for social media
• Create engaging reels, stories, posts, and carousels across all platforms
• Develop content calendars and maintain consistent posting schedules
• Write compelling captions that drive engagement and build community
• Stay updated with trending audio, formats, and pet content trends

Social Media Strategy

• Manage and grow The Petfort's presence on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant platforms
• Develop and execute social media campaigns to increase brand awareness
• Monitor analytics and adjust strategies based on performance metrics
• Identify opportunities for viral content and trending topics in the pet space

Podcast Management

• Conceptualize, plan, and execute pet-related podcast episodes
• Coordinate with guests and pet experts for podcast interviews
• Handle basic audio editing and publishing of podcast episodes
• Promote podcast content across social media channels

Community Engagement

• Respond to comments, messages, and engage with followers daily
• Build relationships with pet influencers and local pet community
• Identify and leverage user-generated content opportunities
• Manage online reputation and handle customer queries on social platforms

Brand Building

• Maintain brand voice and visual consistency across all platforms
• Collaborate with the team on promotional campaigns and offers

Mandatory RequirementsEssential Qualifications

• Pet Parent or Hardcore Pet Lover (Non-negotiable)
• Prior experience in managing social media accounts (minimum 1-2 years)
• Based in Jaipur (Work from office/field)
• Strong portfolio showcasing social media content created and managed

Technical Skills

• Proficient in mobile photography and videography
