Key Responsibilities:

Academic Responsibilities:

 Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum for Grades 5 to 10

 Maintain academic records, assess student progress, and share feedback

 Conduct internal assessments, examinations, and remedial classes as needed

 Participate in curriculum planning and contribute to academic innovation

 Support co-curricular activities and school events

Residential School Oversight:

 Actively monitor and engage with students beyond classroom hours when needed

 Ensure discipline, safety, and emotional well-being of students in the residential

environment

 Collaborate with the school leadership team for student behavior management and

mentoring

 Be available for occasional night/weekend responsibilities as per the residential school

schedule

Collaboration and Reporting:

 Work closely with other faculty members and the Principal for curriculum alignment and

planning

 Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and ongoing training

 Maintain open communication with hostel staff, parents (where required), and school

management

Ideal Candidate Profile:

 Strong subject knowledge and command over content delivery

 Passionate about rural education and child development

 Comfortable working in a semi-rural, residential school setup

 Adaptable, team-oriented, and sensitive to the needs of adolescent girls

 Knowledge of local languages (Bengali/Hindi) will be an added advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
