Fleet Dispatcher

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Trucking Dispatcher to coordinate and manage our fleet of drivers and trucks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a strong understanding of transportation logistics. Work hours are Monday through Saturday, from 5:30 PM to 4:30 AM (Arizona Time)

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and dispatch drivers for pickups and deliveries across designated routes
• Monitor driver locations and routes using GPS tracking and dispatch software
• Communicate daily with drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel
• Ensure all loads are picked up and delivered on time
• Maintain accurate records of driver hours, vehicle inspections, and load documentation
• Address issues such as delays, breakdowns, or emergencies in real-time
• Optimize routes to reduce fuel costs and improve delivery efficiency
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
• Coordinate maintenance and repair schedules for fleet vehicles

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a trucking or freight dispatcher (preferred)
• Familiarity with dispatch software and GPS tracking tools
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changes
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation industry standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English required
