About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment at residential and commercial construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings under construction.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical plans.
  • Ensure all installations comply with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to identify electrical issues.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices.
  • Collaborate with site engineers, supervisors, and other construction workers.
  • Maintain records of all electrical work, materials used, and inspections.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements

  • ITI / Diploma / Certification in Electrical or related field.
  • 2-7 years of hands-on experience as an Electrician in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, wiring, and construction safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site layouts.
  • Skilled in using electrical tools, testing equipment, and repair techniques.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces.
  • Team player with strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualities

  • Experience in large-scale residential or commercial construction projects.
  • Knowledge of energy-efficient systems and modern electrical installations.
