Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect with deep expertise in designing, planning, and executing SAP workloads migration to AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of AWS architecture best practices, SAP systems landscape, and enterprise migration methodologies.
  • This role will be responsible for defining target architectures, guiding technical teams, and ensuring successful SAP migrations with minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architectSAP workloads on AWS, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, and related SAP components.
  • Developmigration strategies(re-host, re-platform, re-architect) for SAP applications to AWS cloud.
  • Definehigh availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutionstailored for SAP environments on AWS.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, SAP Basis teams, and AWS specialists to ensureseamless migration and integration.
  • Providetechnical leadershipand governance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conductcapacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimizationfor SAP workloads on AWS.
  • Ensuresecurity, compliance, and monitoringframeworks are in place.
  • Stay current with AWS innovations and best practices related to SAP.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ yearsof overall IT experience, with5+ years in cloud architecture (AWS focus).
  • Hands-on experience inSAP migrations to AWS(greenfield, brownfield, hybrid).
  • Strong understanding ofAWS core services(EC2, S3, EBS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Expertise inSAP Basis administrationand understanding of SAP HANA, NetWeaver, and OS/DB migrations.
  • Experience withAWS migration tools(AWS Migration Hub, DMS, SMS, CloudEndure, etc.).
  • Knowledge ofnetworking, security, and compliancein cloud environments.
  • Familiarity withSAP-certified AWS instancesand performance benchmarks.
  • Excellent communication, client-facing, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Specialty (SAP on AWS).
  • SAP certifications (SAP Basis, SAP HANA Technology, or similar).
  • Experience withhybrid/multi-cloud strategies.
  • Background inlarge-scale enterprise transformations.
