About the Role

We are looking for an experienced PTC Windchill Developer to design, customize, and support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions using PTC Windchill. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuration, customization, and integration of Windchill modules to streamline engineering and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and customize PTC Windchill PLM applications based on business requirements.
  • Implement and maintain Workflows, Life Cycles, and Access Control Rules.
  • Design and develop custom solutions using Java / JSP / Info*Engine / Windchill APIs.
  • Integrate Windchill with CAD tools (Creo, NX, SolidWorks) and enterprise systems (SAP, ERP, etc.).
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
  • Develop and maintain reports using Windchill Query Builder (QML) or custom reporting tools.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with functional and business teams.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Document technical designs, configuration changes, and support procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 410 years of experience in PTC Windchill Development and support.

  • Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Windchill PDMLink / ProjectLink / MPMLink

  • Info*Engine customization and integration

  • Windchill APIs, Java, JSP, XML, J2EE, JavaScript

  • Experience in Workflow & Lifecycle Configuration and Access Control Rules.

  • Familiarity with Windchill Business Administration tools (Type and Attribute Manager, OIRs, etc.).
  • Knowledge of CAD Data Management and integration with Creo or other CAD tools.
  • Experience with Data Migration and Upgrade Projects.
  • Good understanding of PLM concepts and engineering change management processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Windchill REST Services (OSLC / ThingWorx Integration).
  • Exposure to Windchill customization using PTC Navigate.
  • Familiarity with Oracle / SQL / Tomcat / Apache environments.
  • Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • PTC Certification in Windchill Development or Administration.
