Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Emergency Medicine Consultant at Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, located in Bengaluru, India. The Emergency Medicine Consultant will provide immediate medical care to patients in emergency situations, diagnose and manage critical illnesses and injuries, and work collaboratively with other medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Additional responsibilities include maintaining detailed medical records, supervising junior medical staff, and adhering to clinical protocols to ensure timely and effective treatment.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in emergency medical evaluation, stabilization, and treatment planning.
  • Expertise in advanced life support, trauma care, and critical care management.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills with the ability to work under high-pressure situations.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications in Emergency Medicine; completion of postgraduate training or fellowship in Emergency Medicine is preferred.
  • Registration with the appropriate medical council and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in a hospital setting, ideally in Emergency or Trauma care, is highly desirable.
