Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day production activities on the shop floor.
  • Monitor production processes and support supervisors in achieving daily production targets.
  • Coordinate with different departments (quality, design, maintenance, and stores) for smooth workflow.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and 5S practices on the shop floor.
  • Maintain proper records of production output, downtime, and material usage.
  • Support in troubleshooting basic machine/process issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.
  • Ensure proper utilization of manpower and resources.
  • Assist in implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Strong understanding of basic manufacturing processes.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD / MS Office will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
