• Demonstrated proficiency in phacoemulsification, applying the latest techniques for superior vision restoration and minimal patient recovery time.
• Exceptional technical skill in performing manual and advanced phaco surgeries, maintaining industry standards at all times. (Mandatory skill)
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring patient-centric care throughout the treatment process.
• Excellent communication skills for patient counseling and interdepartmental interaction, fostering a supportive clinical environment.
• Commitment to ongoing medical education and skill enhancement, staying updated with new surgical methods and technologies within ophthalmology.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform cataract assessments, diagnoses, and advanced cataract surgeries, including phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation.
• Evaluate patient candidacy for cataract surgery, formulate individualized treatment plans, and schedule appropriate intervention methods.
• Ensure stringent adherence to preoperative and postoperative care protocols, overseeing seamless patient recovery and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and clinical staff to maintain a sterile and efficient operating environment.
• Manage complex and challenging surgical cases, displaying advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Maintain accurate patient records, surgical documentation, and compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
• Provide patient education sessions, counseling before and after surgery, and address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Contribute to clinical improvement initiatives, participate in case discussions, and share expertise with peers for continuous organizational development.
