We are looking for a seasoned ServiceNow Platform Developer with expertise in backend development and AI integration. The ideal candidate will drive intelligent content and search services that support dynamic web experiences across internal and external platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product owners, content strategists, and front-end teams to align backend services with business needs.
  • Design and manage ServiceNow tables, APIs, scheduled jobs, and server-side scripts.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of search services across multiple sites.
  • Implement AI-driven monitoring and alerting to proactively detect and resolve issues.
  • Enforce data governance, access control, and content lifecycle management.
  • Evaluate and optimize out-of-the-box vs custom ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support dependent web teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

Must-Have Skills:

  • 810 years in software/platform development, including 4+ years with ServiceNow.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, Script Includes, and Scheduled Jobs.
  • Experience designing backend APIs and integrations for content delivery.
  • Expertise in search configurations and indexing logic.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across content pipelines.
  • Agile/Scrum experience with distributed teams.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with AI tools like Now Assist, Gen AI, and OneExtend Framework.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Search Source configurations and indexing strategies.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, OAuth, and third-party content feeds.
  • ServiceNow certifications (CAD, CIS App Engine).

  • Exposure to AEM, Drupal, or similar web content platforms.

  • Certifications: ServiceNow CAD or CIS App Engine (Preferred)
