Trainer Cybersecurity

Role & responsibilities :

• Deliver interactive training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs for students, faculty, and research scholars.
• Design, develop, and regularly update the Cybersecurity curriculum aligned with global frameworks and industry needs.
• Develop and manage virtual cybersecurity labs, simulations, and real-world case studies.
• Assist CoE teams in deploying and maintaining cybersecurity tools and frameworks.
• Train participants on domains such as ethical hacking, threat intelligence, network defense, SOC operations, cloud security, and incident response.
• Collaborate with academia and industry experts to align with national cybersecurity initiatives and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CERT-In).
• Lead hackathons, bootcamps, and Capture-the-Flag (CTF) events to encourage applied learning.
• Guide research projects and innovation initiatives related to cyber resilience, threat detection, and security automation.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and methodologies for security awareness and training delivery.
• Contribute to technical documentation, whitepapers, and publications in reputed venues.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills & Competencies

• Proven expertise in cybersecurity concepts, tools, and frameworks (threat management, ethical hacking, network forensics, incident response).
• Experience with cyber ranges, virtualization, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, VMware, GNS3, etc.).
• Ability to simplify and deliver complex security topics for diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of AI-driven security analytics and automation platforms is an added advantage.
• Research orientation with a history of publications, security projects, or patents.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and mentoring skills.

Qualifications & Certifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science / Information Security / Cybersecurity or related discipline.
• Bachelors/Masters from a reputed institution.
• 67 years of relevant industry and training experience.
• Industry-recognized certifications preferred, such as:
• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
• CompTIA Security+ / CySA+ / CASP+
• CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Auditor
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

Other Requirements

• Willingness to relocate to Jaipur.
• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and upskilling.
• Strong command over English; Hindi familiarity preferred.
