An Account Executive (AE) is a client-facing professional who builds and manages customer relationships, acting as the main link between clients and internal teams to drive sales, ensure satisfaction, and grow business. AEs find new clients, understand their needs, propose solutions, negotiate deals, and oversee project delivery, working in sales, marketing, advertising, tech, and finance. Key duties involve prospecting, presentations, contract negotiation, strategy, and coordinating with teams to meet client goals and revenue targets. Core Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Be the primary point of contact, nurturing strong bonds with existing clients and onboarding new ones.
- Sales & Business Growth: Identify new opportunities, generate leads, present solutions, negotiate contracts, and meet sales quotas.
- Project Coordination: Act as a liaison between clients and internal departments (like creative, tech, support) to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
- Strategy: Understand client goals, research market trends, and develop strategies to meet objectives and find growth.
- Reporting: Track sales data, provide client updates, and report on account status.
