As a Software Engineer, you will join the Recipient Experience team in BHN Bangalore, India. This team is responsible for maintainence and development of all the front end applications which enable BHN customers to redeem their giftcards. Our team members enjoy dealing with technical challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative, and positive environment. We value strong technical ability, great communication skills and a can-do attitude. This is a great role for someone who likes variety where no day is the same.  



Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain applications based on NodeJS primarily. Experience in building front end UI using React and javascript is also appreciatedCollaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Develop RESTful APIs which will other core services and integrate with third-party systems.Implement and optimize AWS services to support scalability, reliability, and performance of applications.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure quality and reliability of software solutions.Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in NodeJS and AWS services.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.Proven experience as a NodeJS Developer, with at least 3 of experience in software development.Strong proficiency in NodeJS and Javascript.Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3 and RDS and databases like Mongo DBExperience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
