Job Overview
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations, business development, customer service, and compliance of the branch. The role requires leadership, financial acumen, and people management skills to ensure branch profitability and smooth functioning.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Revenue Generation
- Achieve branch sales targets across loans, deposits, insurance, and other NBFC products.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market penetration.
- Maintain strong relationships with local customers, businesses, and institutions.
2. Operations & Branch Management
- Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the branch.
- Oversee loan disbursement, collections, and recovery processes.
- Maintain proper records, documentation, and reporting.
- Ensure timely submission of MIS reports to senior management.
3. Team Leadership & People Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise branch staff.
- Motivate and guide the team to achieve individual and branch-level targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Ensure discipline, teamwork, and productivity among staff.
4. Customer Service
- Provide excellent service and resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Build long-term customer relationships to improve loyalty.
- Ensure proper handling of customer queries related to loans, EMI payments, and other services.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
- Adhere to NBFC regulatory guidelines and internal company policies.
- Ensure KYC, AML, and credit policies are strictly followed.
- Monitor loan portfolio quality and take corrective measures to minimize NPAs.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure proper risk management practices.
6. Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities and local market trends.
- Provide feedback and insights to management for strategy building.
- Suggest new products and services suitable for the branch's customer segment.
