Job Description:

As a BI Consultant at NCSi, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions that empower our clients to make data-driven decisions. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and create insightful reports and dashboards. Your role will involve analyzing current systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending solutions that align with business objectives. You will also provide training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively utilize BI tools.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their data and reporting needs.

- Design and develop BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data models.

- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.

- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing best practices in data governance.

- Create documentation for BI processes and solutions for future reference.

- Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users on BI tools and dashboards.

- Stay current with industry trends and technologies to enhance BI capabilities.

Skills and Tools Required:

- Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.

- Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.

- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

- Knowledge of data visualization best practices.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions and technologies is a plus.

- Understanding of data governance and data quality principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Relevant certifications in BI tools or data analytics.

- 3+ years of experience in a BI or data analysis role.
