Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team and

play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and

applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering,

systems administration, and cloud computing, with a focus on automation, monitoring, and

incident response. The SRE will work closely with development teams to design, build, and

maintain highly available and resilient infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security Posture Management

• Maintain and continuously improve the organization's overall security posture.

• Administer and monitor Zscaler, Kaspersky, firewalls, and other security controls.

• Maintain and update the Risk Register, ensuring all risks have owners, mitigation

plans, and timelines.

• Perform monthly firewall configuration backups and verify backup integrity.

• Rotate and communicate Guest Wi-Fi passwords and ensure access control discipline.

• Ensure timely patching of security appliances, endpoints, and network equipment.

1. Incident Management & Compliance

• Lead and coordinate cybersecurity incident response across teams.

• Act as the primary point of contact for SEBI and external regulators during incidents.

• Ensure incident documentation, RCA, and reporting timelines are strictly met.

• Maintain and test the Incident Response Plan (IRP) annually.

1. Traffic & Bandwidth Management

• Identify unnecessary or malicious traffic patterns and apply bandwidth capping

where required.

• Monitor real-time traffic through firewalls, routers, and Zscaler dashboards.

• Optimize network utilization for business-critical systems.

1. Network Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Optimization

• Conduct traffic analysis and troubleshooting for any connectivity, latency, or

performance issues.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.

• Maintain network topology diagrams and documentation.

1. Network & ISP Management

• Ensure reliable network connectivity across all locations.

• Manage coordination with ISPs, track uptime SLAs, and escalate issues as needed.

• Maintain redundancy, failover configurations, and link monitoring.

1. Telephony, PRI & SIP Management

• Manage PRI lines, corporate SIP trunks, and related telephony infrastructure

(separate from EC SIP).

• Ensure high-availability voice services and resolve call routing issues.

1. Security & Compliance Audits

• Prepare for and support internal, external, and regulatory security audits.

• Maintain compliance documentation and evidence repository.

• Coordinate closure of audit findings with cross-functional teams.

1. Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT)

• Plan and execute annual VAPT cycles (e.g., next due in April).

• Track and ensure timely remediation of all findings.

1. CSCRF Implementation & Security Programs

• Drive implementation of CSCRF (Cyber Security & Cyber Resilience Framework).

• Manage enterprise DLP policies and data protection controls.

• Conduct security awareness training every 6 months (last done Nov 2025).

• Coordinate annual cyber audit and maintain compliance artifacts.

• Lead SOC integration and ensure continuous monitoring and alerting.

1. Vendor & Partner Management

• Manage infrastructure and security vendors, including onboarding, renewal, and

performance reviews.

• Track AMC, license renewals, SLAs, and support contracts.

1. Policy & Documentation

• Create and maintain IT security policies, SOPs, network diagrams, and configuration

documentation.

1. Business Continuity & DR Support

• Participate in BCP/DR planning, testing, and readiness for critical systems.

1. Asset & Configuration Support

• Maintain inventory of network devices, firewalls, switches, and security tools.

• Ensure proper lifecycle management and configuration standardization.

1. Access & Identity Management Support

• Oversee privileged access for network devices and security systems.

• Conduct quarterly access reviews.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or

equivalent work experience.

1. Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role,

with a strong background in software development and systems administration.

1. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Go, and experience with

automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

1. Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google

Cloud Platform, including infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

1. Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and container

orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

1. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack

(Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or similar.

1. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues

in distributed systems.

1. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively

in a cross-functional team environment.

1. Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud

Architect, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are a plus.
