We are looking for an
AOSP (Android Open Source Project) Developer
who will be responsible for customizing, developing, and optimizing Android system components to ensure seamless performance on next-generation hardware platforms. This role involves working with HAL, HIDL, SEPolicy, and ensuring compliance with CTS/VTS while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver stable and secure Android builds.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and integrate
    AOSP components
    for new hardware and product requirements.
  • Work on
    HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer)
    and
    HIDL (HAL Interface Definition Language)
    to enable hardware-software communication.
  • Configure and enforce
    SEPolicy (SELinux policies)
    to ensure system security and compliance.
  • Ensure Android builds successfully pass
    CTS (Compatibility Test Suite)
    and
    VTS (Vendor Test Suite)
    requirements.
  • Collaborate with hardware, kernel, and application teams for system integration.
  • Debug and resolve Android framework, system service, and HAL-level issues.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of professional experience
    in AOSP platform development, Android internals, or embedded Android systems.

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in
    Java, AOSP, HAL, HIDL, SEPolicy, CTS/VTS
    .
  • In-depth understanding of
    Android framework, system services, and init process
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    AOSP build systems (Make/Soong)
    .
  • Experience with
    Git
    and collaborative development workflows.
