Job DescriptionAn accountant's primary role is to keep records of all incoming and outgoing transactions and to ensure that each transaction corresponds to the correct account. They compile all financial data to analyse the pattern of transactions and create financial reports for all stakeholders. An accountant also needs to create profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial statements to present the necessary information to the management. They also forecast the budget by analysing income and expenses in the financial year. Also, reconciling ledger accounts and guiding the clerical staff. Other duties of an accountant may include:

1. Sale Invoice

2. Bank Payments, Cash Payments after reviewing in ERP

3. Attending Stock Audit at Plant and preparation of Stock Statement for Bank Submission

4. Preparation & filing after reviewed by CFO

5. Co-ordination with logistics team for Import of Raw Material

6. Documentation related works to exports

7. Verification of Monthly Marketing expenses

8. Special assignments like Preparing and compiling of data for GST Audit, GST Notice, EPF Notice, ESI Notice etc., P. Tax Assessment & involved in FRRO filing.

9. Co-ordinating with plant for Export Import documents preparation

10. Any work entrusted by the management from time to time relates to Finance/Accounts. Compliance Audit as and when required upon exigency.
