Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Engineer to join our team. The QC Engineer will ensure that all jewelry produced meets the company's quality standards and complies with customer expectations. This role requires a thorough understanding of gold jewelry manufacturing processes, attention to detail, and proficiency in quality control methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Standards Implementation:
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures specific to jewelry manufacturing.
  • Inspection and Testing:
  • Conduct inspections at every stage of production, from raw materials to finished products.
  • Test the purity of gold and ensure compliance with weight, design, and finish specifications.
  • Process Monitoring:
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to identify defects and deviations.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to production teams to enhance quality.
  • Defect Analysis:
  • Investigate defects or complaints, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain records of quality issues and report trends to management.
  • Tools and Equipment Management:
  • Ensure calibration and maintenance of QC tools and equipment.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the design, production, and supply chain teams to align quality expectations.

  • Assist in supplier quality assessments and audits.

  • Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed QC reports for management.
  • Maintain records of quality checks and certifications.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Metallurgy, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in QC within the jewelry manufacturing industry.
  • Hands-on experience with gold and gemstone quality testing methods.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and spectrometers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹40,000.00 per month
