About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Trainee Business Analyst to join our Dynamics 365 Finance team, with a focus on security and compliance. This role is ideal for Post-graduates interested in finance processes, ERP systems, and security governance. You will support the team in analyzing finance-related security requirements, managing user roles, and ensuring compliance with financial controls within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering and documenting security requirements for finance modules (AP, AR, GL, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, etc.) in D365.
  • Support the setup and testing of security roles, duties, and privileges related to finance operations.
  • Analyze and document finance process flows and identify appropriate role-based access requirements.
  • Participate in SoD (Segregation of Duties) reviews to ensure compliance with financial controls.
  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders and IT teams to troubleshoot security and access issues.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation on finance security roles.
  • Stay updated on D365 Finance security features and industry best practices in financial compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Masters degree in related field.
  • Strong interest in finance processes and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 knowledge is a plus).
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial transactions.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail in security and compliance.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment with finance and IT teams.
