UI/UX Designer

Position Overview:

We are seeking highly accomplished UI/UX Designer who can be the part of the GEDU IT Engineering Team at GEDU Noida. The person should preferably have worked as a UI/UX Designer in any Software Product development organization. He/she should be driven by business needs, should be a great user advocate, should have good communication skills and ability to inspire people at all levels to follow your customer intimacy. We are working on modern software to meet customer satisfaction we are now building up our team as a group of talents with exceptional skills, knowledge, and value to our company and to the team. As an UI/UX Designer, you will be at the front line for expanding, designing and maintaining system wireframes and workflows, addressing a wide array of business problems using a diverse range of technologies. This includes designing and articulating new implementation and initiatives taken by business. He/she can work with multiple Agile SCRUM teams as a UI/UX Designer. Responsible for co-developing the vision and strategy of the product by collaborating with Product Managers, product owners, architects, R&D leadership. He/she develops and communicates the strategic direction for the software teams. He/she collaborates with user experience team to define intuitive user experience to our users. He/she collaborates with R&D stakeholders to define the non-functional roadmap for the product.

Key Responsibilities: 

• As a UI/UX, the candidate will participate in the design / development / customization and maintenance of software applications.
• The candidate will also be maintaining a close working relationship with the other application stakeholders.
• Experience of designing optimized and scalable user interfaces and wireframes. 
• Investigating user experience design requirements.
• Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy.
• Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
• Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets 
• Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
• Collaborating with the different cross platform team both internal and external to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.
• Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyse and predict user behaviour.
• Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design.
• Knowledge of software development life-cycle methodologies e.g. Iterative, Waterfall, Agile, etc.
• Participating in troubleshooting application issues.
• Jointly working with other teams and partners handling different aspects of the platform creation.
• Tracking advancements in software development technologies and applying them judiciously in the solution roadmap.
• Ensuring all quality controls and processes are adhered to.
• Working closely with the Engineering Manager on different aspects of product lifecycle management.
• Demonstrate the ability to independently work in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and efficient time management.

Qualifications:

• Good team player. Also, can work independently too.
• Prior experience of working with Global clients
• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both Web and Mobile platforms.
• Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), Figma, iOS, Android, Design Systems, Adobe XD. Knowledge of javascript, jquery. Experience using CSS tools and frameworks such as Bootstrap and Semantic UI.
• Familiarity with CSS pre-processors such as Sass and Less. Good to have understanding of WordPress platform. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Must have knowledge of working on code repository (Azure Repos, GIT etc..)
• Excellent knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git, Azure devops.
