About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled and experienced Shopify Developer to build, customize, and maintain high-performing e-commerce stores. This role is ideal for someone who understands the Shopify ecosystem inside and out—from Liquid templating and theme development to app integrations and performance optimization. If you're passionate about creating seamless shopping experiences and scalable storefronts, we'd love to see your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize Shopify themes based on design specs and brand guidelines
  • Implement features using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and payment gateways
  • Optimize store performance, speed, and SEO
  • Troubleshoot bugs, implement fixes, and maintain clean code
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and product teams to deliver functional and visually appealing storefronts
  • Maintain version control and documentation across projects
  • Stay current with Shopify updates, best practices, and e-commerce trends

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience developing on the Shopify platform
  • Proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Familiarity with Shopify Plus, custom apps, and checkout customization
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple development tasks
  • Must provide a portfolio or GitHub showcasing Shopify projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with tools like Shopify CLI, Git, and GraphQL
  • Familiarity with analytics and conversion tracking (e.g., GA4, Meta Pixel)
  • Understanding of e-commerce UX/UI principles
  • Experience with headless Shopify setups or Hydrogen framework
